Appearance
Cress is quite nearly the spitting image of her mother- the biggest difference is Cress' hair is lighter and more golden, and her eyes are more blue. Cress has a sweet, narrow face, with big blue eyes. Her blonde hair is long and curly, and she is short and small. Despite her size, appearance, and even personality, she has taken advantage of how others see her.
She is usually wearing airy dresses or flying leathers, with boots or heels on her feet. In general, she looks as if a gust of wind might blow her over.

Skills and Abilities
Dragon-bonded: Cress took after her father in many ways, including the dragon she bonded to. She bonded to a feather dragon, the dragon of House Nhalaryn. Her dragon, Nemya, is much smaller than her mother's dragon or her brothers' dragons. The two are quite close, and sometimes Nemya acts more like an energetic puppy than an elegant feathered dragon.
Dancing: Graceful and lithe, Cress has taken dance lessons from a private tutor at her mother's behest. Alryssa insisted it would make her life ten times easier but so far Cress has yet to see the results.
Painting: Ever since she was a little girl, Cress has loved painting. Her father would bring her fancy paints and she would sit in her room and paint all day. She has taught herself and become very talented at capturing scenes and people with stunning realism.

Cress is the eldest daughter of Alryssa and Ramsay Nhalaryn. She was doted on by both her parents, especially her father. She has always been more artistic and creative than athletic. But this does not mean she can not win a fight- she did grow up with three brothers.
She can sometimes come off as manipulative, but she really is just clever and can read people really well. She means well very nearly all of the time, and has many friends because of her gentle kindness. Even her father's family can't quite hate her.

Biography
Cress is the third born to Alryssa and Ramsay Nhalaryn. She has always been super close to her father and her oldest brother, Daryon. As their first daughter, her parents spoiled her with dresses and other fancy things that as a little girl she hadn't known what to do with. What she treasured most, however, were the paints her father bought her.
When he died, Cress was 14. She took it the hardest of their entire family, and even Daryon was hard pressed to cheer her up. Even now, two years later, she is still soft-spoken and more drawn into herself than before. But she has still remained kind, sweet and gentle.
