Cosmo was born near the ports of Ostia Anir, one would think he never knew his parents, but they would be wrong. Cosmo was actually raised by his mother until he was roughly 14. He helped around a brothel that his mother worked at, it was almost nice in its own way. His mother wasn't a great mom, but the others at the brothel looked after him...That being until one day without even realizing it, his mother sold him to some merchants. Indentured servitude they called it, but might as well have been slavery.

He was quickly sold to another brothel in Vel Anir. It started off ok with him performing many of the same duties that helped out with at the old brothel. However, as he got older, he was urged into performing 'other tasks'. He was made to do unspeakable things that broke him inside.

Cosmo would not have been the first to let those things completely break him, but he hardened his soul, grasping at power in any direction that he could. He applied his craft and quickly realized an opportunity for profit for those brave enough, especially during the revolution.

It was one of his first clients that came seeking something information, the Hanged Man, who offered him an opportunity for safety and power.
