"My master, while mighty in his position and power, has always skimmed over the finer details of the picture. While he still holds sway over the Stygian Legion with an iron grip, I myself have already concocted a full plan so legendary that not even the might of our lord could comprehend it! Just you wait, Styx, for soon I shall be the new ruler of the Stygian Legion, and perhaps even all of Jarlax kind!" - Chi'ziks, announcing another of his long-winded speeches to his Screech Wing, Styx.

Lanky and thing, Chi'ziks is a walking skeleton of a Jarlax, who are normally muscular in appearance and stature. Chi'ziks was a runt among his litter, as such he was often bullied out of his meal share by his far stronger and competitive siblings, who were giants compared to the small creature.

Chi'ziks also had other strange features, such as his abnormally longer fingernails, which has proven useful in distilling the Jarlax's touch upon his prey when out hunting, if he was the one doing so instead of his minions of course. He attired himself with that of a flowing rob of skinned fur from local beasts, many parts simply being patches of different creatures from other areas of Thanasis.

This crude obsession has shown itself also in his strange manner of wearing head bands or hair attires, which were plucked from the feathers of birds or sheared then laced from furred creatures. What reason Chi'ziks does this is kept to himself and himself only.

Being part of the Sky-Shear clan (or in Jarlax, Shauol'kir.) Chi'ziks was raised to become a master Screech Wing riider. Mounting onto the back of his bat-wyvern Styx, Chi'ziks has proven himself to be a fierce ariel fighter, enough to give some of the dragon riders a run for their skills. In times of battle, Chi'ziks and Styx would glide through the air with ease, swooping and diving between dragon riders, disorientating them as they swam in the sky.

Just like any Jarlax, Chi'ziks has the attributed ability of leech, draining the magical energy from other beings via consumption, Chi'ziks is able to gain supernatural abilities. For this reason, Chi'ziks often stash small pouches of dragon scales into his cloak, so in dooming times, he can consume these bones to bestow upon him a boost that'll last long enough for him to escape.

Chi'ziks was able to find himself in the higher ranks of the Stygian Legion thanks in part to his persuasion skills, this has bestowed onto him through shrewed manipulation and gossips. This is the same form of manner that he was able to trick many of his older siblings during his cub years. And now, his skills still assist him as part of the Stygian Legion.

A habit that Chi'ziks has picked up, the peculiar Jarlax has mastered the art of sewing, stitching and stuffings of certain items, specifically skinning enemy dragon riders and their scaly pets into becoming fashionable coats. This has given him the advantage of psychological shock, but most of the time it's simply because Chi'ziks felt like it.
