Charon Galeus
Much of Charon can be summed up in a single word: unhinged. He is one of the final products of the abusive legacy of old Vel Anir, a barely restrained, violent sociopath bred from years of torture and beatings. He could be qualified as one of the 'mean kids.'
Appearance
A young man of slim, but athletic build. He has sharp facial features and dark gray hair, with a shock of light gray that runs through it. He doesn't like to talk about it (he probably dies it). His most notable feature are his teeth; they are unnaturally sharp and pointed.
He has a custom made suit of armor that's covered in pointy bits.

Personality
When not riled up, Charon is mostly cold and emotionless. He behaves much like a machine, just a hollow shell on autopilot. However, when he catches wind of pain, whether it be inflicted upon him or the opportunity to inflict it on others, the beast that the proctors have created emerges. Charon's sanity is frayed at best and shattered at worst. He's a relentless sadomasochist; he loves the sight of blood and the sound of agony, and he doesn't much care who's giving or receiving.
Biography & Lore
Charon was taken to the Academy extremely young. His powers were discovered as an infant when his parents complained of a lingering sense of discomfort as long as they were near the child; the moment he was weaned, the proctors seized him. Many of the more adventurous proctors used Charon as an experiment to see exactly how far they could go to create a living weapon. Their relentless torture and conditioning did not produce the perfect, amoral soldier, however, but an unstable monster. While those proctors that made him what he is considered him to be a failure, he was allowed to continue his tutelage at the Academy nonetheless, if for no other reason than his unwillingness to just die.
Now, pain is the only thing that reminds him that he's alive and awake. The post-revolution Academy seems to think he stands a chance at...'rehabilitation.'
