Calariel Halorien is one of four knight-captains of a Templar order in Fal’Addas. An exceptional archer and swordswoman, she has spent most of her life training under the tutelage of the Sacred Rose Templars, one of the few templar sects that still exist in the ancient elven city. Born in a noble family, her parents were soldiers who died in battle when she was still a child, and was subsequently taken in by a friend of her father.

She began her training earnestly and soon found her purpose and devoted herself to the order. She learnt the way of the blade and archery like all elvish soldiers, and in addition to the basic training, she was also put through the training of divine magic that all brothers and sisters of the order had to go through.

The type of divine magic the order uses had always been strictly limited to healing diseases and wounds, protection against curses and the creation of hallowed grounds for the sake of shelter and protection should the need arises.

Her exceptional talent and tireless devotion soon found her rising through the ranks despite her age and by the time she was seventy, she had earned the rank of Sergeant.

Her continued efforts to serve the order progressed her efforts at a steady pace. Despite her great skills and talents, Calariel is not well-liked or regarded among most elves. Compared to most of her fellow kin, shel does not possess the same arrogance and superiority that are inherent in their race.

Instead, she tends to have an open mind to all races, seeing them as equal, not as something lesser which tends to make her an outcast against those who do not agree with her beliefs.

She is also not as serious as she looks, more than willing to take jokes as well as she can crack them, which can annoy the serious lot among her kin who value sobriety. Over time, she has assembled a following of similar minded brothers and sisters.

Known for her beauty and refined features, most who do come across Calariel do agree that she possess a comely appearance. Hair as black as the darkness of night is pair very well with her fair unblemished complexion and a pair of sky blue eyes. Sloping eyebrows give off an angry expression when she furrows her brows, causing most people to think she is angry when she isn't.

Pointed ears stick out from within the locks of hair that when let loose, falls down to her rear end. Although lean and lithe like most elves, her physique is well toned from decades of training and fighting. Like all elves, her posture is impeccable and she carries herself with an elegant poise. When it comes to her attire, Calariel can be usually be seen clad in her full armour, but she does know how to kick back and loosen up as well. When not dressed for combat, her attire is elegant yet practical, not unbecoming of your typical elf noblewoman.
