Brackard Cain
Inquisitor Brackard Cain was once a captain of the Anirian army in the 4th cavalry regiment. He was confident, handsome and popular. His regiment was ambushed by an elven raiding party and overrun. His left leg was broken in several places and his knee shattered. He survived by being trapped beneath his horse.
Brackard's career was shattered and his life was in ruins. His shame slowly galvanised into something much darker. In a city where strength of arms, magic and carrying the blood of a house are all pre-requisites for success Brackard has carved out his own path. His diligence and sharp intellect have afforded him little oversight in the work he does.
Often he is assigned Forsaken or other such deadly weapons to carry out his duties. Brackard quietly advances the position of House Luana with an extensive network of spies. Down beneath the docks he runs his own private prison. Heavy oak doors ensure that those who end up under his watch are rarely heard in the outside world again. No matter how loud their cries.
He despises the 'lesser races' and halfbloods. He sees danger lurking in every shadow, dissent in every voice that dares to speak out.
