Appearance

Bal'gorath is a tall, dark green Orc, standing at 8 ft tall. Atop his head he wears the skull of a great beast he killed during one of his hunts. Across his body, Bal'gorath wears special orc armor crafted in Belgrath, with the symbol of the White Claw painted across his chest armor. The armor is made up of strong steel and connected with chain mail crafted from more high valued materials. On his shoulders are large pauldrons, with faces engraved on either one, each important to Bal'gorath's tribe. Below the pauldrons and at other important armor locations, there are the clans words of wisdom and significant importance engraved.

Skills and Abilities

Skill Strengths
Tracker- Living on the edges of the wild lands, the White Claw orc tribe had to hunt their prey through dense jungles and inhospitable conditions. Any prey missed was a hungry mouth more, as such the clan could not afford missed prey. This has led the clan and all its members to be very, very proficient trackers and hunters, able to blend in with their environment while tracking their prey.

Combat- Living so far from other living beings, the tribe known as White Claw had to fight for survival almost every single day. Whether it was to find food or fight off raiders foolish enough to attack orcs, there was almost constant conflict. This led to members of the clan becoming very proficient in fighting, more from experience than any true skill. Bal'gorath was one of the best fighters, not the best, but good enough to hold his own for long enough.

Skill Weaknesses
Technology- Due to where the White Claw's lived, Bal'gorath had little contact with any sort of technology. His only experiences with it being whenever the clan went to Belgrath to trade for weapons and armor. Due to this limited contact, Bal'gorath isn't afraid of technology, but he can't truly interact or use more advanved things.

Leaders- Bal'gorath will gladly follow an orc leader, particularly if said orc comes from the Ixchel Wilds area. However, if the leader of whatever group he might find himself part of isn't orc, he will have trouble truly following their commands. Unless said leader is the one paying for everything of course, but if it's simply another mercenary, then Bal'gorath will not always listen, sometimes believing he knows better.

Personality

Bal'gorath is an orc through and through. As such, he has great respect for nature and those who live in it fully. He will also respect an orc over any other species, but in his interactions with others he has learned that most can be useful. As such, Bal'gorath is inquisitive, rough around the edges, and cares a great deal about those close to him.

Biography & Lore

Bal'gorath is part of the Orc tribe, the White Claw, as evidenced with the white, clawed hand on his chest plate. They are a nomadic tribe, living out their lives in and around the Southern side of the Ixchel Wilds. The closest major city they are near is the dwarven stronghold, Belgrath. As such, it is the city that the White Claw's trade with the most, something that has been mutually beneficial for several armor and weapon smiths in the city. Belgrath is the city where the White Claw's receive most of their weapons and armor, which they end up keeping throughout their entire lives.

Born only 22 years prior, Bal'gorath is a younger orc, but has participated greatly in his tribe. He has taken part in many hunts and proven himself tenfold in the wild, both as a tracker and as a warrior. However, while he is excellent in the wild, he has little experience in large cities. The reason for that is he's only been inside Belgrath a handful of times, each time only visiting a certain person and always with other orcs from his tribe. The few experiences in the big city have left Bal'gorath with a strong desire to learn more about other species, and to see how orcs are compared to them.

Within the last few years of his life, there have been more conflicts with others in the area of the Ixchel Wilds. Alongside this, there have been more mercenary groups moving about the area, speaking of various things that Bal'gorath had never heard of before. Due to this, Bal'gorath eventually made up his mind to see the things that these mercenaries spoke of. He wished to see the orc city of Bhathairk, the trade city of Alliria, the elven city of Fal'Addas, the high walls of Vel Anir, and most of all, the Forbidden City in the far West. Knowing little of most of these things, Bal'gorath resolved himself to find them out. To do so, he decided to become a mercenary, for it seemed they traveled the most, and the farthest.

While Bal'gorath hated to leave his tribe, he also knew that he would one day return, telling them of his great deeds that he'd do. So, with heavy heart he'd set out, taking with him his armor, his war hammer, his orc war horn, enough food to last him some time, and the will to discover, conquer, and succeed no matter what.
