Biography & Lore
Astrid never knew her real parents. She was raised in the dwarven city of Belgrath and her dwarf-parents told her she was found out in the cold, abandoned. Small in stature, she always stood out from her dwarven community, but she didn't remain in the city forever. Following her eighteenth year, she encountered a strange Komodi man lost in the snow. He was a runaway, he told her, and so she helped him to find his way. The two were caught before leaving the mountains. Astrid was taken to a shadowy realm run by so-called deities imprisoning her new friend. There, the deities toyed with her by displaying their superhuman power over the realm through demonstrations of death. Astrid swore to save the Komodi man whom she grew close with in their travels, but was sent away before she could rescue him. The shadowy deities haunt her as she travels to succeed in her vow to slay them all and free her Komodi friend.
