A wandering knight-errant trained in the ways of combat and The Light.

From a distance, Artorius looks tall and imposing. When not wearing his armour, Artorius wears the clothing of a commoner. He refuses to wear expensive jewelry or any kind of extravagance, preferring to donate any money that would be used to buy something like that to a Church. Because of his choice of clothing, many might mistake him for a farmer or a peasant. Those who get closer, however, will see that his eyes contain a hint of the kind soul within.

When he is on a mission, Artorius dons his plate armour and strides into battle against the enemy. His weapon of choice is his broadsword gifted to him by the Church of Light and blessed by the Grand Theogeonist of Light. The blade has been given the name 'Brightblade', since the blade glows a bright yellow colour upon command. Artorius also carries an iron-forged knight's shield decorated with a golden sun on top of it. Across his midsection is a belt with a black, leather scabbard which houses Brightblade when it is not in use. Attached to his pauldrons is a flowing white cape.

Kind to his friends and a mighty foe to his enemies, Artorius is the epitome of a Paladin warrior. He takes his duties as the 'Bastion of Light' very seriously and suffers no distractions whilst on his holy quest. Artorius possesses a rich, deep commanding voice which he uses to soothe those who are afraid or put fear into the hearts of evil. Though a believer of The Lady of Light, Artorius has no intention of inflicting his religion on those who do not wish it. He believes The Light exists in all and that everyone must walk their own path to discover it for themselves. Those who do wish to learn more will find Artorius knowledgeable in the theology of The Light and eager to teach anyone who is willing to listen.

Against those who would inflict pain on others, Artorius works to bring them down to protect those who would fall victim to their machinations. He will offer foes one chance to repent and seek forgiveness... if they refuse then Artorius engages in mortal combat with them and will rarely offer quarter.
