"How better to assist than to assist those that lend their hands!"

Appearance

Ars is a Myconid the height of an average human's thumb, wearing teeny tiny pince-nez. His cap is thin and ridged, like a pleated skirt, and he fades from a dark warm brown at the very crown, to a pale tan at the edges, his body rather pale and speckled. Being a Myconid, Ars doesn't usually need to don any clothes, however he does have many little bags and belts he wears while seeking ingredients, and likes to gussy up with a purple bellflower he has perfectly preserved to be used as a hat, or shroud himself in a hooded coat he has made from a threadbare cloth scrap fashioned into oilcloth when the weather is too frightfully wet.

Personality

Ars is a friendly little Myconid, like most, and will quite gleefully assist in any way possible.

Biography & Lore

Ars was sprouted in the leaflitter under the Eldyr Tree with several dozen of his siblings, all of whom have remained in the Vale, appreciative of their Great Shrouding Grandmother and Her sustenance.

Laboratory

Ars' laboratory consists of two tables pushed together next to the wall in Astenvale Monastery's medical wing.

Along the back rests a long planter, with several easily grown ingredients and plants of intrigue, mulched with a soft, easily trodden moss, and on the left end is a little cottage built with whitewashed twigs, and little red shingles, carefully crafted. On the front of the table is a chalk slate that reads "Welcome to Ars' Laboratory, please do not talk too loudly, or touch the structures without asking!"

In front of the planter resides Ars' equipment. Measuring devices and other tools, prep and mixing surfaces, storage racks and crates and canning supplies, distilleries and pickling vats, an oven/dehydrator/smokehouse combination, tiny magnifying lenses for Ars and big ones for larger viewers, a few chalk slates laying flat with pencil-thin chalk sticks, and several other gizmos, all Myconid-sized and arranged on the table with careful consideration to safe distances and efficiency.
