Ariel
Ariel sees beauty in all things, but women most of all. He sees each with their own passions and challenges, and each as worthy of affection and attention. He is charming, easy-going, and beautiful, a most fitting combination for one so enthralled by the weave of romance.
Appearance
Ariel cuts an unusual figure next to most men of Arethil. He is somewhat androgynous, with slender, fine features, lovely silken hair, and catlike eyes. He dresses well, and is always impeccably clean.
Skills and Abilities
As a duannan Ariel is able to utilize ley lines and the magic within. While the possibilities of ley line magic are vast, he is most well versed in glamours and wards, as are most fae. He also greatly enjoys pulling at the minds of mortals. While he would never sully his romantic conquests with magical interference, he prefers to avoid violence and unseemly individuals and would just as soon turn their thoughts to other things rather than engage with ruffians.
Ariel is aligned the the moons and his power is at its height during the winter solstice. He is aligned to the element of water, and can breath quite comfortably underwater.
His animal form is a black swan.

Personality
Ariel is, by his own description, a hopeless romantic. While some fae balk at the idea of mingling with mortals Ariel is intrigued by them. He finds their simple lives comforting to observe, like watching mice move in blissful ignorance. He sees their struggles and perseverance, and genuinely believes he is doing every mortal woman he beds a great favor. When husbands fail to attend, or lovers do not listen, Ariel is more than happy to serve.
Among the fae he is somewhat less concerned with the Game of politics and intrigue, although he will take efforts to improve his own standing if the opportunity presents itself. He ideals sit well with the Winter Court, putting passion before duty, flaunting his natural and supernatural gifts, and generally doing as he pleases.
