This is Veltion Meliontous a.k.a. Velt, he's an Aillirian watchman of two years. Some very intense political drama disgraced his name as a practitioner of healing and got him exiled from Elbion. He's a bit frighty but he is in Alliria trying to do some right.

Soft-spoken but well read, he is never at a loss for sharp words... unless he has something sharp pointed at him, then he'll clam up and shake. He typically keeps to himself, but he is always inclined to help someone in need. He is ultimately quick to judge, but with enough reason can have his opinion changed.

Velt is bright green eyed, white skinned, with long, straight, blonde hair. He stands roughly 5'9 with a very straight posture. On watch or without he wears his healers robes beneath a dark blue cloak. He posses wide lensed spectacles but he only wears them when operating.

Veltion Meliontous was born to Hessa Meliontous and Veshal Meliontous in the Spine, along with his brother Quistious Meliontous. They would move to Elbion in search of refuge from the bloody skirmishes between the resident orc tribes and the elven and human settlers. His father would die early in his life when Veshal was drafted and slain in an Elbion conflict, leaving him and his brother to work there way up in Elbion. Velt became a practitioner of Alchemy and healing arts while his brother studied alchemy, archeology. At 50 he became a very reputible healer though his brother remained rather unrecognized in his fields. When velt was 82 his brother Quistious would lead a research expedition into the fey realms and neither he nor his crew were ever seen or heard from again. At 93 he lost his mother to a flesh eating disease that he and his mother had been battling for 10 years, and in one final misfortune: he was unable to save the life of a high profile patient and was thus exiled from Elbion. Since then, he has taken up residence in Alliria positing his trade at being a watchman rather than a healer.[/template]
