He was born in a dwarven village in the spire, but was soon sent somewhere else. His parents died of unknown causes, and he was taken in by an old warlock. At first he thought the warlock wanted the best for him, but really they just wanted the best for themselves. Arc was taught thievery, and combat. Starting at about fourteen, he was sent to go steal something. Until he was 18, he kept going on missons to steal things. Once he was 18, he ran away, although he kept stealing. Not because he wanted to take things, but because it was the only life he knew.
