Amhlaidh fits the stereotype of a dwarf. He's short, stout, and looks like he was carved out of rock. He's no beardling but far from being one of the longbeards. He wears functional and unadorned armour, the only decoration a clan sigil.

Amhlaidh is a typical dwarf in that he is an all rounder with little mastery in fields. He's no runesmith, is a passable miner, can range the peaks for days, an average smith. He's as handy with a pick and shovel as he is with a hammer or an axe.

Amhlaidh can come across as gruff and a bit blunt. He's the type to call a spade a spade and nothing else. He can sway between a stoic grumpiness and the desire to blather on for hours.
