Not human enough to pass as one, yet not elven enough to pass as one of those either. Amelia has the pointed ears of an elf and the rounder features of a human. Many family friends claim that she has her mother's piercing eyes and and her father's pointed nose. Although her time on the road rarely grants Amelia the chance to truly get herself dressed up, she is certainly no stranger to it. Raised from a young age that a pretty face can get you very far, and that a sharp tongue can get you even further, Amelia often dedicates time to under most circumstances make herself look her best.

While having spent her early life in fine gowns and elaborate get-ups, life on the road has - to her mother's great displeasure - enamored the young half-elf with far simpler outfits, something more akin to a peasant in the field than the daughter of an influential physician.

In the end Amelia has found a healthy middle ground. Something that makes her stand out just the slightest from the crowd. Tunics, long jackets, and pants that pull the attention towards her without saying all too much about who she is as much as perhaps what she is. And that, my friend, is a doctor who desperately desires to be something else.

Say, for example, a bard.

A not-so-subtle songbird, and a not-so-crappy physician. Although very young by her elven mother’s standard and count, Amelia is well-versed in the field of medicine and the application of such knowledge in the field. While a skill that was more or less pushed into her lap on account of who her mother and father are, Amelia still prides herself on what she has learned in such a short span.

Beyond this Amelia has taught herself how to sing. Although her voice isn’t the richest in the realm she finds great joy in the accomplishment and has since then started to seek out other instruments to learn such as the flute and the lute, the both of them being perhaps a bit too difficult for her to simply sit down and learn by herself.

At least she still has her voice.
