Ageratina Altissima
Appearance
Ageratina is a huge example of his race. While the humanoid torso of his upper body is human sized, the serpentine lower part is extraordinarily long. His body is covered in thick scales from his head to the tip of his tail. His head is humanoid with a slightly longer neck, the loose skin on his neck folds out into an ornate hood.
His scales are a mottling of green and brown forest colors and his slit golden eyes are fixed in his skull.
Surprisingly, his face is very expressive and mobile, able to show complex emotion and convey feelings through his body language.
He wears only a few pieces of armor to guard his weak spots, his natural scales providing the best protection except otherwise, and clothes are a non-necessity for the scaled creature.

Personality
Unlike normal examples of his race, he is not as cold blooded as his kin, as far as his personality goes anyways. He's far from the emotionless reptilian warriors of his tribe, instead he is expressive and eloquent, possessing a keen wit and sharp tongue.
He keeps his friends close and his enemies closer. He is poised and tactful in any situation, but ruthless, brutal, and cruel when it comes to violence, his cold blooded side truly coming out at such times.

Biography
Ageratina was hatched deep in the jungles of Nagai. There was no tribe, no family, only the jungle. There was no mother either. So in order to survive the hatchlings ate each other, and only the strongest survived.
He had no name at the time, since there was no one to give it to him. He grew up wild in the jungle, preying on anything that hadn't the ability to escape his squeezing coils. He was territorial, anything that came near to his nest was a threat.
But when the Naga found him they managed to capture him. With food and much prodding they were able to somewhat tame him, and then slowly began to teach him the things he never learned. How to speak, their culture, the rest of the world, they showed him maps and taught him how to fight with a spear. And finally they gave him his name, Ageratina Altissima.
He stayed with that tribe for many years, he became a great warrior of the tribe and led them in many successful raids. He taught himself how to read in common and began reading every book he came across. He learned deeper, more complex strategy which brought the tribe greater success in their raids, and even against rival tribes.
His life with the tribe was good and he was happy, but he couldn't remain happy if he stayed with them. So one night he left without a single word and never returned. He returned to the wilds and explored on his own, seeking knowledge that he couldn't find in his tribe.
