Agatha has escaped the harsh place that raised her. An old, strict place called Stagborne Academy. It took in 'orphans', or so they say, and 'gives them a chance at succeeding in life' - but what it really was was something FAR more sinister. After finding out the truth about where she grew up, she escaped.






Appearance

Agatha got her height from her human blood, and her strength, along with her bright green eyes, from her elven heritage. She represents both worlds, the gentle flaws of each, the subtle magics of both. The half-breed girl moves with inhuman grace, and her voice ethereal, soft but bold enough to be heard even in chaos. She has long eye lashes, skin porcelain and pale but not glowing white. Her skin darkening when she's constantly assaulted with summer sunlight, like a human. Her hair is light blond, will turn silvery white with time. Agatha is extremely feminine, and constantly jingles with the sound of decorative jewelry and smells of something delightful at all times.

Ora is her white mare she stole from the school when she escaped! This mare is a thick, stout and sturdy horse of medium height, thick limbs, feathered ankles and a tough spirit. She's a loyal mount and is willing to carry or pull a wagon. She's just a regular equine. Age: 8, Breed: Gypsy Vanner

Biography & Lore


Agatha's true-born parents are not long dead, but she doesn't know that. Her father is a powerful elven King, her mother his human female consort. Their love story is interesting to say the least, and more interesting is the story of their daughter's kidnapping! Slowly Agatha will discover more and more about her true roots.


Childhood

Agatha has always believed she's an orphan and has been since birth. Whether that is a the truth, remains to be seen. She was raised in a quaint enough place, a school by the name of Stagborne Academy. Founded by Elias & Segmyre Stagborne, prominent nephews of a long dead ruling dynasty in her former homeland, Piscemora. It was created to give the best fitting orphans the best education available, and also to own every single student that graduated from their halls. Each student received an identifying tattoo upon their 13th name-day. Each graduate was bound to serve the school in some way then after until their death or their 'debt' to the school completed (this conveniently never happened to Agatha's knowledge).

She learned to become a fluent speaker of many tongues, a skilled reader and writer as well. She and all the other students of S.A. had no choice but to have steady enough hands to learn the arts of riding, archery and calligraphy and everything in between. It was a torturous place to try and be a child, but on the contrary it prepared her well for her life ahead as far as capability is concerned - a little heavy on the trauma. Agatha grew into an excelling student there, but upon her 18th name-day and consequently her graduation day; she escaped into the night.

Adulthood to Now

In the tense months leading up to her escape, she had been discovering more and more about the dark nature of Stagborne Academy. Charitable and good natured are not among the adjectives she would use to describe her former home, or many of the adults in charge there. Beatings and punishments were a regular occurrence, and suppression of any magic was an absolute promise. The only good thing about the place was the wealth of knowledge it provided, and the skills taught, albeit taught violently. Agatha didn't turn back, even knowing the beloved sisters she would leave behind - but it was worth it. The suffocating darkness fell away as she galloped harder and harder, a map of her escape burnt into her mind.

She celebrated her 18th name-day in the snowy woodlands just outside of the far reaching school grounds. The trees creaking and moaning, she imagined them praising her dared escape, and fell asleep there under the horse she rode out of there. For weeks she traveled by night and slept where she could by day. It was exhausting, but she made her strategic exit far away from that wretched place, all the while she was hunted tirelessly; the hounds always at her horse's heels, but still she got away in the end. Or so far, that is... things can always change.

Anyway, she's now landed HERE; but where is here? Where has she found herself?​
