A small organized crime wave has hit the lower parts of Alliria!

Bands of thieves are pulling heists dressed in theatre wear, they speak in quotes, rhymes, and even bloody sing! Now it's up to the Allirian Watch and any deputized individuals to put a stop to these thief theatrics before it puts all of Alliria in the red. Or perhaps a great opportunity for aspiring actors to turn a profit..?

The Golem stood at attention as the Watch Sargent screamed at him and the other men of the Watch.

"You fak'n tin hat, pig sticker wield'n, can't-catch-a-fak'n-fly-on-dung, Nancys! We have had 50, 50, cases of theft in broad daylight! Taverns have been robbed! Homes have been robbed! The fak'n storehouse has be'n ROBED! An' Poor excuses for Watchmen haven't caught one, ONE, of these pole fancy'n playwrights turned thieves? NOT FAK'N ONE!!!"

The Golem thought up a defense to the Watch Sargent, "The watches moral was already low, one of them had been found with his throat torn out not but a few days ago, and this humiliation was not helping. It was no secret that these thieves were operating in a coordinated fashion, and a thief could be any one on the street., giving signals to there partners in crime. The watch had simply not faced such a large scale crime wave on all fronts and they already stretched thin as it is.", however he did not say this, he was too ashamed of the Watches (and by proxy his own) failures.

The Sargent regained his composure, "You blunderers have given me no choice but to enlist bounty hunters to help lock up these thieves. Starting tomorrow you lot are to begin 20hr patrols with no extra pay until this situation has been dealt with."

The Watchmen proceeded to leave barracks in single file and enter the evening streets of Alliria. Splitting formation to return to their rounds. As usual, The Golem entered the Slums, making his rounds. He thought of the thieves, he always hated thieves. He regarded them as weak, spineless, and honorless rats that prey on the innocent. He decided that the next rat he finds will be the subject of his unrelenting frustration made manifest, he's earned some sadistic indulgence after all.

As he strode by a whorehouse called: "Sando's Slut House", he was spit on by a limping prostitute. He had recalled that he had actually saved this woman from being strangled to death by a particularly inebriated and jealous Ork. He simply didn't respond as per usual when he was spat at or cursed when patrolling the slums and kept his focus on finding a thespian.

The Golem rounded the bend of the street, well, the mudded path that still had remains of the old cobblestone that was once the street. He continued forth, watching for any particularly troublesome sorts, passing by many of the residence of the slums as they returned to their shanty, wooded homes under the light of the street lanterns.

He passed by one man who upon opening his door greeted and embraced his family: his woman and his child. Witnessing their warm embrace in this otherwise rundown and bitter place reminded him of his own childhood in the slums, him and his mother working poultices and potions to heal others afflictions, the sentimentality of the memories filling him with an old joy and warmth, before fleeting as he recalled her passing. Beyond this: the tender kiss the man placed on his wife filled Cauldwin with a certain longing, he was getting older, he had no kin left, no woman to greet him in his home after his daily march was over.

These thoughts put in to Cauldwin a certain melancholy, but the Golem pushed these emotions away, he remained resolute in his task, these feelings, and this families love for one another bolstered his resolve. This was why he came out to the slums where few other watchmen dare go, to keep vigilance in the night for the innocence and the goodness of these people. To be a bulwark against those who would ruin the lives of they who tried to meek out an honest living. He continued his watch for any of these organized thieves in the night, he would make a breakthrough this night, for justice sake: he had to.

The Golem made another round of the street coming across the local whore house yet again. It had been renamed, "Sando's Satisfactions". Cauldwin wondered if Sando would ever settle on a name, he swears he changes it every day. None the less he continued his long march, somewhat disappointed he had not seen much trouble yet, these routes often had some form of trouble. Hopefully, he would soon come across a lead.
