The hive, the swarm, the weirds. They're just monsters, animals, ants that serve their queen, creatures that serve the will of the communal mind... At least... that WAS true.
The swarm is changing, it's evolving, creatures that are more than animal are being brought into the fold. Humans, goblins, and other thinking and reasoning creatures are being added to the swarm, becoming its pack leaders, its captains, its queens, its most deadly warriors and most brilliant strand weavers. They came out from the tunnels below The Forbidden City and traveled to new homes, separating into different swarms to serve the hivemind across the map.

This is a place to brainstorm scenarios. Who wants to join the swarm? who wants to fight the swarm? where should the swarm locate? what would make an interesting story to explore all the aspects of the swarm and their integration as a race to the world?

Vahki is a mentalist. Could be fun c: I like all things involving quirky minds.

Joining, helping, and fighting will all be considered (though the first is unlikely; he already has a job as an infiltrator ). I hope we can RP in Alliria, but I feel as though the Crimson Tahk might rail against an interest that would get in the way of their goals - and the next phase.

The idea behind joining the Swarm is either creating a character for the purpose, or taking a character that you would like changed in that way to become a part of the swarm.
Basically it involves a race change and adding of new abilities and weaknesses.

I guess this is an invitation as well, advertising a new race that people can make use of.

Probably not gonna join, then (Vahki doesn't need anymore abilities, and I dun think it would suit him. Would get in the way of what I have planned), but I would love to thread with them ^_^ Figure out what they're up to... what they want beyond the, uh, expansion.
