Riding high above the fertile forest, the sea of green, peaceful and yet vibrant with songs of birds and the rustling of leaves as he flew over them. Khya'xss has always love the rushing of the wind blowing past his ears, the warmth of the rising sun basking upon his skin. It was something he loved, appreciated, but it'll soon have to come to an end when his mind reminded him of why here was here.

Riding upon the corrupted Sky-Burner, Ki. Khya'xss thoughts spiraled like a ravaging cyclone. A few months ago, he has come in contact with another Jarlax, although not of his clan. His form was mysterious to say the least, then again, the Jarlax do slowly change physically depending on what they have devoured the most. The messenger's fingers ended with talons, longer than his, small patches of blacken feathers sprouted from his shoulders as he adorned himself a mask that resembled that of the crows that he often times see flocking near the Taker's Dragon-Spined wall.

He had come with information, but realistically it was more of an invitation. Formerly introducing himself as Cha'zixs, he had made announces of a brewing event that shall be situated near the Clan Spire, the area in which traditionally, all the clan leaders will meet up upon days of great peril for the Jarlax race as a whole. But this was different. Cha'zixs has spoken tales of a chief, who seeks to unite the Jarlax under a single banner, and to strike back against the Takers and their Sky-Burners.

To be honest, Khya'xxs was struggling to really care about Cha'zix's words. His voice was annoyingly pitch with a high yet scratch tone, alongside gurgling sounds at the back of his throat. He moved feebly as well, taking a more subservient stance as he lowered his back.

But the worst of all was his annoying clicking. Cha'zix's had this strange behaviour to clock with his talon like finger nails, doing so whenever he thought of something or possibly just to amuse himself. But his words still wormed in his mind like a parasite.

This was the reason why he was flying alone, contemplating. While this cause does sing sweet ichor into his ears, the idea of killing and terrorising the Takers has always been his prime activities, but this idea, the idea of rounding up every Jarlax clan, how could such a feat be possible? But most important of all... What could this mean for his sons?

Ever since he lost Syar'xss, his rage against the Takers always fanned, always boiled in the depth of his heart, alongside the pain of all that he loved, stripped away from him like the tales of which when the Takers first arrived and stolen their home lands. But... There were also his kids. That was his true cause of fighting, to protect them. It has been hard for all of them; Khya'xss needing to operate attacks or strike down scouts, ensuring that order is maintain in the clan, hunting for food at the same time, but now he could possibly be taking part in a united battle or, possibly, a civil war.

Khya'xss groaned audibly, resulting in Ki growling in response. While the sky-burner has been reduced to more or less a tool, it still seems to take notice in changes in the environment, in this case, Khya'xss groaning of frustration and anxiety. Khya'xss responded himself, snorting at the withered reptile before turning the leash that binding directly into the creature's skin, now changing course to head back to the Twin-Peaked mountains.

She was trapped. Alongside her companion, Fafnir and Mira were practically bound to the mountains. They couldnt leave without a word from a commander. She wasnt old enough to join the troops to the great wall, nor was she able to head into town. For she had a might Red Dragon by her side.

Everyone feared that Fafnir would suddenly burst i to a fit of rage, but Mira has seen his fits. He has never hurt anyone and only ever hurt himself. He was a warm hearted beast that had trust issues. Much like Mira, they both didnt trust easily. Hurt and betrayed by too many, they both swarn they would only trust one another.

Mira was barely 15, living on her own with no family. Her parents long gone, dead, and she was orphaned. Fafnir the same. Mira found him in the wylds when she was only 6 years young. Now he has grown into a mighty beast. Large in size and as red as a ripe apple.

Mira brought her hands up to Fafnirs massive head, pulling to down to her level as they both stood on top a cliff, looking down at the kingdom below. "Is this truly where we belong? We are shunned away, left alone up on these mountains....I just wish someone were here. Even for a moment."

Fafnir let out a low rumble as he nuzzled into Miras neck. Even though they couldnt feel each others emotions, they already knew how each other felt. They had been together for so long, that there was no way they couldnt tell. But at last, they couldnt stay up on this cliff forever. Cause the sight of a stranger has caught their eyes.

As the rose higher, Khya'xss thrashed Ki's leashes to order the horrid beast to hurry in its flight. Jarlax have never liked the sun-light, preferring to live in caves alongside their Scree wings or their Ichneumon companions. In fact, the only reason Khya'xss was really here at this time was so he could think alone, he wasn't exactly sure when the sun would rise but, he considered it to be a timer for his mental planning.

If it is true that there is a Jarlax, capable of uniting the clans and tribes, then there is a possibility of reclaiming their home land from the Takers and their Sky-burner demons. But how? How could this mysterious figure gain such a reputation and to come up with such an outrageous plan?

His centipede of thoughts was soon interrupted by a strange gasp. Blinking for a few seconds, he realised that it was Ki who produced such a noise. "Ki, Yak'ik'ki?"(Ki, what is it?) Khya'xss questioned.

The Corrupted dragon snorted, turning its head towards the mountain, the Jarlax-Touched Dragon sniffed and flicked its forked tongue in the air, tracking down the smell. The wind was blowing in a certain direction, so it was hard for Khya'xss to find the scent, but he'll give some trust on the brute. With the sun rapidly rising, he only has some time to investigate before he needs to retreat back home or find cover.

The wing-beats of the dragon was powerful, yes, but too loud as well. With every stroke of its arms, large gusts of wind and air picked up branches and rustled leaves on the ground floor. It's large, bulky size could possible rival that of the black Sky-burners, Ki's head could easily fit half of a young Sky-burner inside of its jaws, ready to snap down with enough force to splinter bones. If the Jarlax-touch doesn't kill the victim first, of course.

Reactions: Mira Winters
Mira quickly jumped into Fafnir's back. She didnt know what this beats was, but when Fafnir snarled, she knew that this creature was dangerous. As the beats got closer, Mire held onto Fafnir's spikes, ready to fight if they had to. With no saddle and only ever road bear back, she didnt have a saddle, so her only alternative was to trust Fafnir with her life.

As the creature got closer, she noticed it had a rider. A jarlax. She opened her eyes wide in shock, not know Jarlax road such creatures. In fact, she didnt know much about Jarlax or this creature he was riding, but as they got closer, she did the one thing she knew she was good at. She let out a high pitch whistle, Fafnir quick to reply to her command, he launched them forward, propelling them off the cliff. As they fell, Mira looked back at the two, now in their place on the cliff. Fafnir came to stop, flying mid air in front of the two out in the open.

"Ice never know Jarlax to ride such a creature, although im not sure if you can understand me either. But you wont be able to do anything to Fafnir and I." Mira said pointing at the sun poking over the mountain. "You might want to get out of here before that sun hits you." Mira yelled over the beating of Fafnir's wings, standing up on his back and looking over his head. "Plus I highly doubt im much of a meal. Im too tiny". She siad the last part as a lind of joke, thinking the beats couldnt understand her.

Reactions: General Khya'xss
Scanning upon the mountainous terrain, his mind conscious on the rising sun. The Sun has always been a major weakness to the Jarlax species as a whole. It's bright glare, blinding as it casts down it rays upon them with the same annoyance as pestilence flies. It's the reason why so many Jarlax prefer to simply adorn themselves with masks that simply blindfold them, to help protect their eyes due to their sensitivity.

Khya'xss still remembers how one of his sons, Nees'ixss, the oldest of the siblings of three, wanted to see the sun rise, only for him to soon after come running over to Khya'xss, tears in his eyes as he complained how much it hurt, earning him a tight hug and a quick word of intel in return.

As Khya'xss came closer to the mountains, Ki soon became riled up with sudden energy. Khya'xss had to tug tighter on the chain harness to bring it back under some form of control. Khya'xss growled at the back of his throat, looking forwards to soon see a moving figure coming into view, actually, two figures.

Khya'xss squinted his eyes before making out a Sky-Burner and a Taker rider. Wait, why are they here!? This far inland and so close to his tribe's home?? This has to be different; the Takers have no clue where Khya'xss and his tribe lived, and yet here is one alongside their accursed, flapping reptile, just a few miles away from the Twin-Peaked Mountian.

Khya'xss and Ki simply watched as the two... creatures. Came closer into view, soon stopping just in front of them. Ki's tongue slithered in and out of their jaws, slathering their teeth with saliva. Ki had an... Unnatural amount of bloodthirst, often times taking sadistic pleasure in hunting down its own kind, the Jarlax-Touch infection not only seemed to have nulled its independence and devolved its body to a horrific extent, but also inflicted Ki with a cannibalistic appetite. Ki's brutality and size alone would most definitely shatter the smaller dragon's body if given the chance, Khya'xss doesn't even have to command Ki to do so, as it's one of the few things that Ki has free choice over.

The Taker soon began to say something to Khya'xss, unable to understand the gibberish that the thing spoken. However, it soon gestured towards the sun, possibly stating the obvious of its inevitable ascension upon the edge of the sky. Khya'xss only responded with another growl at the back of his throat, his eyes not leaving the Taker's nor it's pet. However, Ki isn't the most patient of creatures...

With a great inhale, the far larger and mightier beast let out an ear-piercing screech, a disturbing sound similar to the calls that the feminine Takers produce when in shock or fear. Khya'xss would assume that he wouldn't have to do much of anything except keeping a look out of the sun, simply allowing Ki to have its share of fun, after all, killing a Taker and a Sky-burner would be a productive start of the day.

Mira covered her ears when the creature let out a screech. Fafnir snarled and began flying up instead of down trying his hardest to get into the suns light. But Mira couldn't hold on in time, sending her plummeting towards the ground. Only then had the Jarlax realized she isnt an adult, she was nothing more then a child.

As Mira fell, she screamed. Fafnir then turned around, plummeting down towards her once he realized she fell off, but he didnt make it to her in time.

(Dun dun duuuun)
