Ars, my uncle from the Main Branch spat those words, his tobacco filled saliva drenching my face and clothes while he beat me. I don't understand why he's so angry with me. Did I do something to anger him? I don't think I said anything worth the beating but then again, I can't seem to please any of the elders or relatives living in the main household.
Ah… I don't believe I will survive this time.
