I don't have a lot of details, just the basis.
A fallen Angel named Metatron is encountered and making a group of demon slayers called Excorsists. (Yes this is using some elements of popular media). But the name can be changed for what these demon slayers are.
Characters will have to go through a painful ritual of having angelic scripture scared onto their body to protect them against demonic powers/possession.
The main goal of this fallen angel is revenge, as his fallen status is due to association of another angel who's fallen. Essentially fighting demons with demonic power without letting it get to our heads. Sometimes swords and bows won't work, but words of power and magic will be needed to banish demons.
The whole concept follows the grey Templars of Dragon Age and Grey Knights of Warhammer 40k but this about as far as I got with it and up for working with others to flesh this out
