"Lãę! Lãę! Wake up! We gotta go! Someone's coming out the trap door!" Lãę woke up to being shaken awake. She shot up and threw on her hood and mask. She stood in a defensive stance as Hash scurried behind her one leg and clung to her, peeking out the side, enough to see but still be hidden.
Lãę watched the trap door open and hands poke out, then a head, then a body, then soon enough, a full male figure stood, back facing her. After a few seconds he turned and spoke.
"You have 10 seconds to explain yourself. What are you- You're the theif thats been running around town!" He exclaimed calmly.
'Shit! Time to go!' She turned to jump off the roof when her hands hit an invisible baricate preventing her from doing so. "Yeah no. Not gonna happen. I knew you'd run so I placed a concealment charm on the house before coming up." The man said.
Her breath hitched in her throat as she felt claustrophobic all of a sudden. Her breath slowly quickened. She turned around and leaned against the barrier like a fairy trapped in a cage. She was trapped in a clerics barrier with a man that caught her sleeping on his roof. What good was to come out of the situation? She looked down to see her friend still hidden by the furr on her leg.
Hash looked at her and his eyes darkened. He suddenly ran towards the man. "Hash, no!" She yelles making the man widen his eyes at her voice.
'Its a girl?' He though to himself.
Hash reached the man and started beating on his leg. "DIE BITCH!! WHY WONT HE FLINCH!?!?"
The man let out a hearty chuckle followed by a scoff. "Because you're too small." He lightly shoved the gnome away with his foot.
"This is your infamous sidekick? The one everyone's afraid of? They're scared of you two?" He let our a loud laugh before-
"AH! WHAT THE FUCK?" The man yelled before looking down at the gnome who had his teeth deep into the mans leg, and groaned before shoving him off.
"Oh yeah. He bites." Lãę said coldly. The gnome ran up to the girl who hoisted him up, and he sat on her shoulder, arms crossed and in a slight pout.
"So he does. I should have seen that coming. He is a gnome after all. Not that I have anything against them!" He defended as Hash bore his razor sharp, shark-like teeth at him.
"I won't hesitate to do it again." Hash snarled. "Please don't." The man replied with a sigh.
"Wait. But arent they venomous?" Sweat beeded on the mans forehead in panic.
"Relax. I didn't poison you. We excreat venom at our own will not randomly. I didn't." Hash stated boredly, Lãę letting out a breathy laugh that went unnoticed.
"Alright, alright. Im sorry. But can you please enlighten me as to why you are on my roof?" The man pleaded kindly.
"We fell asleep here thats all. We weren't planning to rob you so you can calm down." The tall man widened his eyes at the girls words.
"What about your own home?" He asked. "Don't have one. Whats it to ya?" Hash asked him. "You don't have one? Thats why you're stealing! Hah! I knew I could figure it out!" He mentally patted himself on the back. The young teifling sent a glare at the gnome making him roll his eyes.
"What's a chick like you doing on the streets alone? Its dangerous." He exclaimed light heartedly. "First, I can take care of myself. And second, Im not alone. I have him." She jerked her head at Hash while glaring daggers at the tall man in front of her.
"Him? Hes so small. What can he do? Sure he can Fucking bite a bitch, but I bet he can't fight for shit." The man didnt notice as she slowly aproached him, silently as if stalking prey. As she reached him she pressed him up against the barrier, her dagger blade tight against his neck, his eyes widening. How hadn't he noticed her? It was like she was invisible when she moved.
"Spew one more piece of crap out of your fucking mouth and I will end you." He nodded as little as he could without slicing his neck open. Lãę took a step back and finally examined the man fully.
He was wearing a pair of long blue leather pants and a belt over his waist, his long sleeve white vest poking out of the bottom of the belt. He has on a pair of brown leather boots in which his pants were tucked. He had short, thick, curly blonde hair. His eyes were a crystal blue colour which complimented his sharp pointed nose and razor-sharp, chiseled jaw bones.
He was one of the most beautiful men she'd seen in a while. He was a caucasian human male. He stood in a defensive pose and furrowed his thick brows above his long lashes, a staff stood in his right hand, a clear crystal ball placed gently in golden dragon claws on the top.
"I deserved that. The greatest of apologies to you for any offence caused." He nodded to Hash, who just straightened the bowl om his head, huffed crossed his arms and turned his head away from the man 4 times his size.
"Watch yourself..." Lãę threatened him. The tall man just gulped and nodded in response.
"So your names are?" He raised an eyebrow at the pair. "You first." Lãę intimidated. He rolled his eyes. "Well alrighty then. Glandon. Glandon Gwrathnogch. At your service." He bowed dramatically at the pair.
"Lãę. He's Hash. I'll tell you if it changes." She said, putting her knife into one of her hidden belt knife holsters.
"What do you mean-" Glandon was cut off by a stomach rumbling and a small male gnome looking away in embarrassment holding his stomach. Glandon let out a light chuckle.
"You must be hungry. Please come in. I'll make us a meal. Breakfast to be exact." Glandon offered kindly. The gnomes mouth instantly began to water at the mere mention of food. He hopped off his friends shoulder and began to walk towards the man before being pulled back.
"How do we know we can trust you?" Glandon thought for a moment before answering. "I'll eat from the same pot. First if you prefer."
Hash and Lae shared a glance. Hash's pleading eyes made Lãę cave. She sighed and rolled her eyes. "Fine but if you hurt him in any way, I'll kill you. And thats a threat." Glandon nodded his head in understanding. "I don't doubt that you'll stick to your word. Follow me!" He exclaimed after mumbling the first part. He then climbed down the ladder and disappeared through the trap door.
Lãę turned to Hash. "You sure we can trust him?" She asked her best friend. "No but we need food and water." Hash replied with a sigh. "True I-" At that moment, Glandon had noticed that they werent following after him and poked his head back out the trap door.
"You guys coming?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Yeah, were coming." Lãę replied. Glandon brought his head back down the ladder. The two outside shared one last weary look before following the man into his house.
