In a culture where strength and skill with arms is so highly respected Valthar is known as quite a promising fisherman. Even among the nordenfiir he would not normally be such a disappointment. In such a harsh land those that can provide food are a necessity. Yet Valthar is the son of Ardull. Ten years after death the name of his father is still known across much of Eretejva. He was a renowned fighter and led the Jarn's personal honor guard.

Valthar has inhereted few of his father's traits. Instead of brash and fierce, he is quiet and determined. Instead of drinking into the night, he works diligently on the nets until his fingers bleed.
