The Stalkers of Liadain are a group of sworn hunters that span multiple species. Each member is dedicated completely to the preservation and protection of Liadain from dangerous magics and mythos. In past wars the small group has remained unaligned and reserved within their island fortress off the Cortosi Coast. Now the group has returned to their continent and dispatched their hunters to track down rumors, and talk of rumors, involving: dangerous mages, necromancy, mythological creatures, magical artifacts, etc.

Overview
Stalkers of Liadain are extensively trained in most forms of combat, and are well-versed in knowledge involving magics and the arcane. Their training and conditioning is rumored to take the entirety of their youth in the hopes of making them the absolute best they can be. Their equipment is military-grade and of fine make. Although they do not openly engage with individuals outside of their assigned jurisdiction, they are known to be intense opponents. Most governing bodies permit stalkers to conduct their business as they please, and even pay to have their services should the need arise. In Liadain however, stalkers are on their own. Should they come at odds with brigands, or the law, their life remains in their hands. Whatever the outcome, should they live, they will be expected to carry out their duty until death.
Structure
The structure of the stalkers is just as elusive as the group itself. Whether or not there is a leader is yet to be determined, but the group does maintain a fortress, Blackwatch, off of the Cortosi Coast. All stalkers are presently known to be of equal rank and status, often regarded based off skill or experience.
