Pinberry
A raspberry like fruit with small barbs hidden between each bulb to encourage consumption by smaller animals in order to carry seeds. They also allow the seads to stick to trees or similar large plants, where it will grow as a parasite Though painful, the pins are brittle and even dissolve in boiling water.
Appearance
The berry is red and grows on a two to five foot wide shrub with six pointed leaves.
Habitat
The shrub can grow in the ground, upon trees, and occasionally out of carcasses.
