Atem
A sapient scarf. Once a human being, his soul is now weaved into the enchanted threads of his vessel He has potential use to any mage that might get their hands on him, as well as being quite stylish to boot.
Appearance
Atem is a finely crafted accessory, likely intended for someone of some manner of wealth. Five feet of 22 momme mulberry silk dyed a deep, sapphire blue and then threaded through gold beads and baubles. He is elegant and dignified without being gaudy or over the top.
Skills and Abilities
Telepathy: Atem perceives and communicates with those around him through a mental link. This ability is usually limited to what would be considered a reasonable distance to verbally communicate with someone and so can't be used to talk to people far away.
Power Storage: Being a soul able to channel power, but without the limitations of a fleshy body that might come to harm retaining too much, Atem becomes a very useful "battery" of sorts for magical energy. He can store a not insignificant amount of it within his woven threads, which can then be accessed and utilized by a mage. Unfortunately, he is a little limited on what he can do with the power, himself.
Healing: One thing he can do with his own stored energy is heal. Atem was a healer in life, and the feat came easily to him in recreation. He needs to be in contact with whoever (or whatever) it is that he is healing, but as long as even a single thread it touching the wounded body, he can stem bleeding, seal wounds, and even lighten the symptoms of disease and poison related illness. He can even set a broken bone, but doing so is rather slow, as he does not have hands and has to will the body to do it, itself.

Personality
Atem is five years old, as far as he is aware, and still discovering his personality. There are hints of who he used to be, however, in his gentle and thoughtful manner as well as his tendency towards worry and compassion.
