Your average tomboy, Aspen in one of 10 orphans in living and training with the Routien warriors on the castle grounds. She's always found herself to have a special connection with animals and the young girl has no memory before arriving at the barracks.

Appearance

Tall and scraggly for her age, Aspen would never be found dead in a dress. Most of her clothing ( which consists of a chest tied tunic and leather pants) often fitted loosely. For her age she is rather strong but that boils down simply to the training she has to take part in.

Skills and Abilities

Aspen is still learning her way around weaponry and combat, showing no clear signs yet of proficiency. However she is light on her feet and quite nimble, she has heard on or two of her trainers making comments however that she would be an excellent addition to the Ferox Feminarum...whatever that was

Personality

Kind but short tempered.
Lacks tact
Inquisitive
Adventurous.

Biography & Lore

Aspen does not remember much of her past before her arrival at the warriors barracks which lay on the grounds of Queen Esmereldas castle - and no-one seems to be in the mood to talk about it either. Whilst some might pity the orphan, she enjoys her life ( even though she has nothing else to compare it to ). In between required training she loves exploring and finding hidden spots around the castle grounds. However her confines have not kept her deaf to the outside world, she was lucky to be places in the barracks she was - the second best would have been with the seaside fighters but everything after that was hard and difficult from what she had heard. In the forest you often encountered large beasts and intruders prowling around, the thought of that worried her enough that she didn't dare imagine what the outposts were like, they only sent children there over the age of 14 who showed proficiency in their craft and a willingness to stay in the forces after required age...the thought of ever being sent out to the outposts sent chills down her small spine.
