Vailë is one who embodies what it means to be a Sword of the Order in the fullest. She is faithful in her devotion to Nykios, and answers the will of the Order without hesitation. Steadfast and valiant, she is willing to face any challenge.

Vailë is tall and fair like most of the Aerai, with platinum blonde hair of a particularly notable radiance. One of great dedication to duty, she maintains her possessions with a pronounced diligence so that her armour may still gleam with the majesty of its careful creation, even in these darkened times. Carefully crafted, like all the Aerai's work, her armour is both effective and functional, allowing her full range of motion while betraying little weakness. But, she is not one so fixated on duty as to never be seen in a casual light. When not dressed for battle or ceremony, she dresses herself in anything from a casual dress to a tunic and trousers.

Like any Aerai, Vailë is a natural inheritor of telepathy, telekinesis, and magical gifts, but her true prowess is with a blade. She is considered lower on the scale of telekinetic ability and sorcery, and so as a warrior her focus has always been in the mastery of martial arts. And though her magical ability is lower than those greater magicians of her kind, she is capable of displaying the very same abilities, albeit to a lesser degree.

Though Vailë is kind, even for an Aerai she is someone who takes herself very seriously. Because of this she can often seem aloof or even distracted when interacting with others, unless those interactions are directly involved in whatever charge she has taken up. From this also stems her focus, and drive. She is determined and even a little self-righteous in her endeavours, but not so much as to be foolhardy or careless. Especially in these darker days, the importance she places on the lives of her brethren is near paramount, and she would see that none more would succumb to the curse that has plagued their land.

And though she will, it is rare for Vailë to associate with others in a purely casual sense. If not carrying out some task as a Sword of the Order, then she is usually found in meditation or prayer, or honing her mastery of combat in solitude. This may make her seem perhaps prudish, the fact is that she is really quite meek is many regards, and somewhat shy.
