He is a mage who mainly focuses on magic runes which work a bit like electronic circuits, but also have a bunch of magic attributes.
With those he can create automatons, scrolls with a magic function and more.
He can also use them in a fight, but he mainly focuses on other applications for them,so at most he's a glass cannon.
Currently he focuses on making gadgets and enhancing things, for example making cubes that project a touchable cat, giving clocks a backlight, or making (colored) lights.
Limitations:
1.the runes need to be created first. May that be through painting, writing, etching or something else.
2.Making the runes magic saps power from him. Depending on how complex or powerful the runes are it takes more or less.
3.To use the runes, energy is required. During usage stamina and energy is drained from the user.
4.they don't last forever. They can last up to a couple of months though. If they are made on a sensitive surface like paper, they will damage it during usage, if the material is more sturdy, they will disintegrate themselves over time. Depending on the power of the runes they do that slower or faster. They can be fixed by him though.
