Sebastian is the oldest of three children. He and his sisters (Priscilla. 14, and Mairwen, 10) were born to working-class parents in the Outer City, but his father's sister caught the eye of a rich merchant's son, and after their parents died, they were taken to live in the Inner City with their aunt. The aunt was not fond of children, but recognized her duty to her deceased brother, and put the children to work as early as possible. Sebastian was ten when his parents were killed, and quickly ran away to become a squire, though he unfortunately could not take the then-6 year old Priscilla and 2-year old Mairwen to do so, He has devoted the last eight years to squiring, though he sends letters to his sisters often, and would sneak away for visits were it not possible his aunt and uncle would notice.

He is a protective and gentle big brother who enjoys games (such as chess) and swordplay , but try as he might, he is not yet perfect in what he has learned and despairs of ever rescuing his family. Not knowing what to do with two young girls after their rescue to keep them safe is a problem, too, as he cannot forsake his ambition to become a knight. Average height for his age with blonde hair and blue eyes, he has above-average muscle tone, though his muscles are not as big as some mens' . It is not that he doesn't have a persevering spirit, but at this point, after eight years,, he is tired, and could use some encouragement as well as some more physical training, and maybe even some help from others he can trust to help his sisters as well.
