Clementine
Clementine is a swift, sharp-witted pixie with allegiance to the Autumn Court. She is a Sentinel of Balance, charged with watching over the balance of life. She lives fast and feels deeply: her emotions go as fast as her, flitting from radiant joy to a sharp focus in just a single moment. Both cheerful and chaotic, she embodies the Court’s ruthless duty as she was born to do; to preserve balance, whether that means taking lives or watering a flower.
Appearance
Clementine appears in her mid-twenties, though her true age is 86. Standing at about 5 inches tall, she is tinier than most creatures in the land. Like most fae her frame is dainty and almost fragile. Her skin is slightly sun-tanned and freckled on the face and shoulders from time mostly spent outside. She has long, wild brown hair - more often than not tied up in braids or ponytails - adorned with leaves, flowers or twigs. She has round, youthful features that make her seem harmless at first glance, with happy sparkling eyes that have both shades of green and amber. Her smile is wide and friendly, hiding subtly sharper fangs that only reveal themselves when she laughs too big or grins too long.
She has slender, green-tinted wings that move fast akin to a dragonfly or hummingbird, when moving visible only as a blur. Her clothing is crafted by herself from nature in playful, mismatched layers. She carries a rapier on her hip; despite it’s small size, she’s able to wield it with dangerous precision.

Skills and Abilities
Elemental magic
Clementine can wield the air and water elements, though air is her major element, and water her minor element. Quick, light, and intuitive, it is clear the element of air is interwoven with Clementine’s complete being. She can shape breezes, guide objects or projectiles, carry whispers, or whip up small whirlwinds. Her air magic is perfect for offense, distraction, escape, or speed. Clementine uses her minor control over the water element mostly to control small, already existing bodies of water, like puddles or individual rain droplets. When combining air and water, she’s able to conjure up minor storms clouds, with a diameter or about 150cm.
Ley-line magic
Clementine can use the hidden web of ley lines threading throughout the world. This allows her to travel long distances in moments and shift between sites of imbalance with precision. Her connection to the lines lets her feel disturbances in nature with speed like that of a spider in her web.
Fae deals
Her quick-witted personality enables Clementine to make good use of the fae’s ability to bind others in deals or contracts. She weaves agreements into everyday interactions by using gift exchanges, shared food, name-trades, simple favors, or her cheerful charm. This way she creates magical pacts that forces mortals to enforce natural balance. Consequences can be both minor like a bad night’s rest or severe like an entire crop failed or even death.
Craftwork
Clementine very much enjoys using nature to tinker and craft. She makes her own clothing from leaves, moss, silk, and feathers. She can also tinker with small equipment turning seemingly unimpressive scraps into functional and sometimes magical pieces.

Personality
At first glance, Clementine is the embodiment of a pixie; friendly, playful, mischievous and quite unserious. While this certainly is a part of her personality, she’s also a very devoted little fae to the Autumn court and takes her role as preserver of balance very seriously. Most of her life is spent in pursuit of deals and contracts, enforcing balance and nursing nature with the change of every season.
Clementine is not only physically fast; she flits through life with quick, darting curiosity, delighted by new sights, new people, new conversation and the chaos of the world. Her emotions move quickly and intensely; she can go from giddy laughter into sharp focus without warning.
Clementine believes in fairness, but her sense of fairness belongs to nature, not to morality. She understands that life can both grown wild and uneven one day, and needs pruning the next. To her, both gentle nurturing and ruthless destruction are expressions of the same truth; balance.
She enjoys wordgames and social trickery, creating contracts into casual conversation with a cheerful grin. Though often seen as goofy or harmless, she notices more than she lets on. Her cleverness hides behind jokes and play, giving her the advantage of being underestimated by those who only see a silly fluttering pixie. But those who earn her respect will know her as loyal, willing to brave danger to protect what she deems important.
Clementine’s fast-moving nature gives her a quick temper. She often acts on instinct rather than thought, making choices that feel right in the moment but create trouble later. Her sense of morality is rooted in nature, which makes her seem unpredictable to mortals who expect empathy before action.
