Chance grew up a somewhat normal life, his dad was an elf and his mother a human and they adored him. But after a few days in life, they realize that his bones broke easily. They brought him to everything to try to help or to even fix Chance. From the sketchy necromancer in an alleyway when he was five or trying to sacrifice animals to help him. Eventually, he had enough and left his family when he was old enough. Leaving Falwood he made his way carefully across the savannah and to Elbion. Where he would undergo certain studies to learn more about why his bones break so easily and if there was a cure to them.

Of all the things he could learn to defend himself growing up was simply a bit of magic and the use or a bow and arrow and daggers. (Think arcane trickster). He also dabbles in a lot of healing magic and it comes in handy when his bones break or when someone else new]eds help. However, due to his affliction, he is not much for combat due to the high risks but he is not afraid to stand up for someone if he sees fit. He took up a Professor position within the college, teaching about healing magic and the energy and magic flow that goes into it all the while going through experiments. Also because of his condition he has two gargoyles following him around college grounds to help protect him or assist him if needed.
