Lorelai Auvier was born of Elf and Fae. She knew little of her parents as she was raised by a Human friend of her Fae mother who was forced to abandon her child at the behest of her clan. Lorelai's surrogate Mother didn't know the identity of her Father but being a friend of the Fae allowed her to raise the child as one to the best of her ability.
Being raised by a Human, as Fae, in Elven culture made Lorelai feel like she didn't belong wherever she went and once her surrogate Mother passed due to her vastly shorter lifespan, Lorelai took to wandering the woods and allowing nature to guide her path. Lorelai has a wanderlust and desire to find her true place in the world but has always been too afraid to leave the safety and comfort the woods provided her.

Lorelai is a rather small and lithe young woman with long, flowing hair orange as the autumn leaves and large, bright eyes green as spring grass. Her short stature and light frame allow her to glide elegantly through the trees of Falwood, often appearing as if to be an illusion garbed in the colours of nature. Her manner of dress only adds to her ethereal appearance, taking inspiration from both Fae and Elven culture to create striking shapes whilst also looking as if she were dressed by the trees themselves.

Lorelai is curious to all things yet also very cautious. Though she has a warm and welcoming smile and bright eyes that exude confidence and even childishness, she does not cope well in social situations and can easily become flustered in groups or when speaking with strangers. Boldness is not something she is known for and much prefers to observe and plan before entering any kind of situation she may not be comfortable with. However, once out of her shell, she is a kind excitable girl, often looking on the bright side and always able to bring a smile to anyone's face. Those that know might remark on her energy, love for life, and even a little mischievousness hidden behind a veil of innocence.
