A legendary item that can create a field of pure anti-magic. Once used it drains all magic from the area, out to a radius of approximately twenty metres. This effect lasts for several minutes, but the orb must remain stationary. Once used it takes a full month before it can be used again, during this time the orb remains dark.

If particularly powerful magics are already present when activated, the wielder may well draw that spell to themselves before the orb drains it away.
