A shamanistic warrior who strives to rid the world of evil until the day he dies.
Appearance
A towering orc dressed in plain traveler’s clothes. Despite his wizened features, his eyes shine with a youthful energy that borders on psychotic. Karan’s features are thuroughly orcish as well, with deep green skin and upward facing fangs. Lastly, he always carries with him a long curved blade in a wooden sheath, either in his hand or hanging from his waist.Skills and Abilities
Physical ability: Karan’s brutal strength would be impressive even for a man a 3rd his age.Experience: This is a man who has pursued a path of righteous violence for half a century with a mindset that revels in that fact.
Spirit magic: Karsk wields the might of ancestral spirits through his Orcish shamanism. These spirits can do much in terms of violence, healing, and knowledge.
The spirit blade: Karsk sword, he cares little for using it as it is so much more a tool of death than a tool of justice to him.
Personality
Karsk is debatably insane with a strong moral compass being one of the only things to keep him grounded. He is driven by a desire to rid the civilized world of monsters and evil, championing the Noct Yaegir to which he has been a member of for many years.Biography & Lore
Karskgorak was born to a tribe of Orcs known for placing great emphasis on chivalric code and acts of justice. In this tribe there is something known as a Gorak-na, a warrior denoted by possession of an Orcish spirit blade sacred to the tribe. By becoming Gorak-na and taking the spirit blade an orc becomes infused with the spirits and memories of all prior wielders of the blade, becoming a mighty shamanistic instrument of justice. The blade is then inherited by a prepared member of the tribe upon the current wielder’s deathKarsk became the Gorak-na when he was 21. Since then he has traveled the world, slaying all evil he comes across and joining the Noct Yaegir to aid them in their monster hunting quests. However time is taking its toll on Karsk. At 65 years of age his body does not move with the same speed and power that it used to, and his mind is addled by the lineage of warriors that he has housed within.
The fiend crusher still follows his creed, and he is still a force to be reckoned with for all that is wicked, but questions of the future and of succession begin to occupy his mind
