Wayne is a member of the corps of the college responsible for safeguarding more of the dangerous magical items. He is well known within the department for having the strange ability to mix healing magic with fire, garnering him the epithet "Phoenix". Wayne pretends not to like it, but in reality loves having been gifted such an epic nickname by his colleagues. In addition, on the rare occasions the department sends out a request for some retrieval or another, he is sent to oversee if the students are particularly unpredictable. His role in these mission is as a healer if shit hits the fan, using his fire to quell serious wounds.
