Just looking at Kami will have someone assuming that she is flawless and beautiful like many elves. That would be deceiving but she is not one to let people see underneath her clothing if she has her way. Her back and her torso are covered in old scars that remind her daily of the worst twenty-four years of her life.

Kami has a problem with keeping her mouth shut. She tends to wear her emotions on her face and her tone will never leave you guessing. It is when she is silent and passive that you know something it truly wrong.
She is your friend or your worst enemy. It is up to you which one you get. Kami tends to hold grudges and will plot your death while smiling at you. Honestly...she really just dislikes most people in general.

Biography & Lore
Kami's parents tried so hard to live in the world with humans but they just ended up getting themselves in trouble with the criminal underground. When Kami was ten years old, she was sold to a crime boss in exchange for the debts her parents owed. She has no idea what happened to her parents after that day and she never cared enough to look. They had brought her into the world and then betrayed her. They were as good as dead in her mind.
She was small and adorable which (grossly) meant that men wanted her. Along with the other kidnapped and sold women, Kami spent ten years in the different beds of whoever would pay for her.
When she was twenty years old, she fought back for the first time. She was beat to within an inch of her life and left in a cell to heal before she was sent back to work. That kept her in line for two years.
At twenty four, she tried to kill the man who had bought her for the month. Not only did she fail, but he decided to torture her for the offense before he gave her back. He left the first scars on her back.
The first man sneered at her scars when she was twenty six. He sent her back. He didn't want her. That was the day that Kami figured out how to escape her daily and nightly hell. She needed to get more scars.
She spent the next eight years acting out at every turn. The boss finally got tired of her losing him money and gave the order to have her killed. He picked the one henchman who had always had a very small soft spot for Kami. He took her out into the forest and told her to run. He told her to never return to Alliria because he could not save her again if she was found out.
Kami walked away and started a new life. For the first time, she could do what she wanted without the fear of punishment. She went to Elbion to study at the Elbion College in order to heal her body, mind, and soul. She kept her promise to not return to Alliria for forty years because by then most of the people who remembered her would be dead.
For the last ten years, she has worked as a mercenary mage traveling between Alliria and Elbion for work.
