Race He's a lightwing. It's not so much of a breed or species, but more of an accident. He needs strong light sources because his soul was "darkened" in some way. Jay is very free-spirited, happy, and very positive. He loves doing dangerous things, often flying in lightning (one of the major light sources he uses) as it is often very thrilling for him. If he doesn't get a good light source in a few days, he may become grumpy, sad, and irritated. This tends to get worse the longer he doesn't go without a good fly. Flying without the use of light is like running on an empty stomach to him, but he dislikes it more because he finds it boring. He actually can't speak, as he words to him are like speaking a very foreign language. He doesn't really have a mouth, although he can make it appear when making noises, singing, or expressing emotions. He knows some sign language that he learnt from humans but usually communicates with gestures, expressions or drawings in sand etc.

<Briefly describe what your character looks like> Brown/reddish hair that sometimes falls over his eyes, usually very messy/curly. He has a fit, lithe body. His eyes are black, with white pupils. He has white feathers on his head around his ears, a tail with feathers at the end used for flight and steering, and a pair of white wings, similar to that of an albatross. He has a nice smile

<List a few key skills your character has> He can fly through extreme weather conditions, often welcoming them, for example, lightning. Surprisingly, it does not affect him like it would humans. He has surprisingly good reflexes and is very good at dodging or evading, although he isn't very good on the attacking side of a fight. He does archery and is very skilled in areal combat. (This may seem like a lot, but he isn't op, just thought I'd point that out. I always try to make sure my characters have both strengths but also weaknesses.)

<What is your character's personality like?> Probably the most positive, extroverted happy bean there is. He does have a more serious side when it comes to battles, but he's usually always joking around. He can become grumpy, sad, and irritated when he hasn't gotten a good source of light for some time, but in the end, all he needs is a nice fly in the sun and some reassurance : )
