Not yet old enough to be considered wise, but no longer young enough to be considered an errant youth, Ignisa and her sister Elisaníra straddle the line between youth and maturity. Both have fully come into their own as an adults, but not yet considered old enough to assume the responsibilities that they now bear due to a freak accident that took both their parents away from them. While her sister remains in Alirycas, managing the diplomacy with Vel Anir alongside Tarnossë Sharion, Ignisa herself wanders the world using the portal stones, acting as her hand in diplomacy, for it is the duty of Tarnossë Aravell to oversee and maintain trade relations with the other powers of the world.

Appearance

Though Tarnossia is a kingdom ruled by High Elves, the kingdom welcomes all other Elves into their kingdom as well. Among all the Tarnossë, it is Tarnossë Aravell that is the most accepting of the other elven subtypes within the ranks of their nobility, with wood elven blood, and maybe even a few other elvish strains, running through their veins. This means that in many cases even the siblings of Aravell may look quite different, depending on which strain of elvish blood runs true and in what form. Ignisa resembles a Wood Elf in many respects with brown hair and eyes, but has the fair skin of a High Elf.

Ignisa straddles both the world of nobility and the world of travel, with attire and clothing for both. Beneath the flowery and fire-tinted robes that are central to elven attire lies a body that is hardened and worn to travel. One might see hints of her athleticism in the grace she bears while walking, in the silence of her footsteps while walking that allows her to bear down upon others without them noticing. In the sword that she often has sheathed and belted to her waist and holds without awkwardness or trembling. Others might trip in the garbs that she wear, but not Ignisa, who bears it all with the grace and dignity that any would expect from one who bears elven lineage.

Skills and Abilities

While Ignisa was born to nobility, a century of travel has given her basic survival skills on par with many other travelers and adventurers on the road, able to endure a level of discomfort and hardship that many of her noble peers are unaccustomed to. Trained by Tarnossë Aravell, she also is somewhat diplomatic despite her otherwise expressive personality, preferring to persuade others to her point of view rather than keeping her cards close at hand like many of the politicians of Tarnossë Thalien, and even her sister. Lastly, she is able to defend herself with a variety of weapons which include a katana, as well as her gunsen (i.e. war fans specifically designed to be wielded in tandem in each hand), both as combat weapons and an arcane focus.

The elven traits of enhanced senses and agility are enhanced in Ignisa due to her Wood Elven heritage, allowing her a deadlier grace and prowl than many of the nobles in Tarnossia, who are High Elves. However, her High Elven heritage (and indeed elven heritage in general) predisposes her to magic as well. Ignisa has taken to elemental magics, especially pyromancy and hydromancy, though she has great skill in the other elements as well, even able to perform some small lightning and weather magic when the occasion calls for it. Though she is not necessarily had the most formal of trainings, her travels and her need to defend herself on the road means that she is experienced in wielding magic in many different situations, both offensive and defensive.
