Andoniel Sharion is the newly ascended Lord of House Sharion, following the mysterious death of his Lord father before him. Lord Adoniel has known a lifetime of war, making him a capable strategist as well as a cunning warrior. He's known for his ruthlessness in engagements with encroachments within Tarnossian borders and is also known for his warmongering attitude toward humans and others that have had poor relations with the denizens of Falwood. Adoniel seeks to not only maintain his House and his race, but also the forests that they reside in.

Appearance

Adoniel was once the pinnacle of what one might consider High Elven beauty standards. He stood at a handsome seven feet tall with the strong build of a warrior. His hair was jet black and stretched to the bottom of his back and he wore shining armor, an example of elven might in the face of all the enemies of Tarnossia as well as his kind in general. War saw him scarred and burned. Now he bears the mark of Gladfrond, the Wandering Root.

Hair that was once black turned white. Skin that was once a glowing pale white is now green and eyes that were once a deep blue are now a feral yellow. Adoniel's otherwise withered form has been strengthened by the Gladfrond's magic and has become a host of bark, branches, and flora. He has functionally become a creature that is more nature than elf.

Like many elves, Adoniel has taken advantage of the time given to him to live and dedicate himself to a few different crafts. Growing up the eldest son to the High Lord of Sharion gave him access to a vast well of knowledge of all things involving combat and war, especially concerning how one might apply such skills and practices in the dense forests of Falwood. Adoniel is a master at using polearms in battle as well as archery when blending in to the trees and brush that make up his home.

The High Lord of Sharion is also meant to be the chief military officer not only in Sharion territory, but in Tarnossia as well. As such, it is expected of him to be highly skilled when it comes to planning out war and tactics. While he is more skilled than most in Tarnossia, it is clear that he pales in comparison to some of the strategists and masters of war from times long past. His greatest skill in war comes from the ability to inspire the elves fighting alongside him and time is likely to see him become a great master of the chess game that war can become as he's still young by elven standards.

The most recent conflict with Vel Anir left him scarred, his body damaged by the fearsome magical wrath of the Dreadlords. In a time of great need, he found himself close to death when Gladfrond came and restored his body using nature. Bark and leaves covered what was left of his form and became a part of him, a seed from the wandering spirit of nature that kept him alive and made him one with nature itself. Since he was changed, Adoniel has a deep understanding of elemental magic, especially magic involving the earth and all that grows from it. The roots and bark that cover the surface of his body is hard enough to halt blades and blunt force weapons, however Adoniel still feels the pain from it.

Personality

The High Lord Adoniel was always a cold and distant elf, serious and dedicated to serving Tarnossia as well as all of elven kind. This sense of duty was something handed down to him from his parents before him and indeed, handed down from the very founders of his most ancient line of High Elven greatness. Adoniel maintains a stoic and formidible presence around both his friends and foes, always calculating and always trying to think several steps ahead of everyone in the room. He has a commanding voice that, perhaps due to his oneness with nature seems natural on the wind itself when he speaks.
