It is impossible to say whether this pendant was crafted to tame the cold or simply to show off that one could. The crystal within is so cold that it ought to crack your ribs, yet it sits against the skin as warm as summer. I once used it to chill a cauldron of stew in a moment of impatience. Quite ruined dinner. The apprentice blamed me for the smell of frozen onions lingering for days. I blame the pendant for being too literal minded. The eccentric wizard Grangomelle

The pendant is shaped like a teardrop of clear ice, bound in spiralling silver. When worn, the air around the bearer cools ever so slightly, and with concentration they can coax frost to gather or mould small shapes of ice. It cannot create weapons or great structures, but its delicate shaping is prized by artisans.
