Appearance

Tall, though average for an Elf, Eirika stands at 1.96 meters, with a lithe body and frame at 62 kilograms. She has a deep olive colored skin tone, attributed to the vast amount of sunlight that Fal'Addas receives during much of the year. At 93 years old, she is still what most among her people would consider young. Her hair is long, flowing, and as tan as the color of sand.

As for clothing Eirika wears traditional Elven garb when customary, robes of a priestess when practicing the divine, and light, flowing shirts accompanied by fitted leggings when casual appearance is appropriate. During times the woman must venture outside the safety of Fal'Addas, Eirika protects herself with typical Elven armor consisting of treated leather, an amulet of divine protection, and the feather of a swan for luck.

Skills and Abilities

Having spent much of her early life under the guidance of both father and high priest Kaemon E'sprit, Eirika possesses a scholar's level education. This knowledge extends from beyond just Elven history but also to the history of magic and Arethil itself, or what is known (or long believed to be known) of it. Through that tutelage, Eirika was instilled a keen understanding of nature and the art of communing with its creatures. One might be surprised to hear how just how much they have to say if you take the time to listen.

Many Elves possess the ability to conjure and control a vast wealth of magic, magic that would strike fear into the mightiest beasts. Fiery tempests or powerful storms. Eirika, though blessed by the divine, does not possess such turbulent magic. An ascending priestess, she has been graced with the ability to call upon the Gods to lend their strength through healing and defensive magics.

Personality

Eirika is very much an extrovert. She enjoys engaging in conversation, be it idle chatter, scholarly theorizing, or subtle, serpent tongued wars of words. Though reserved and careful of what knowledge she imparts on others, she will never hesitate to converse, even if it is with the intent to gain information.

Typical of her Elven heritage, hubris is an ever losing battle. There is little subtlety in her belief that not only are elves superior to other races, but she, in particular, is superior to her peers. This stance is only further reinforced by her status as an ascending priestess, and heir to her tribe's leadership. Surely only the most worthy would be granted the gifts of the Gods.

Otherwise, Eirika is a typically polite and well composed woman, able to keep the company of nobles and commoners alike. She has even taken up the practiced skill of lute playing! (As if it were that difficult to begin with!) A non-drinker, she has forsaken all manner of spirits and ales in order to maintain a constant connection with the gods. It is believed that intoxication could disrupt the bond between the divine. Thus, Eirika has never tasted wine, ale, or other forms of alcohol.

Biography & Lore

Eirika grew up with many eyes carefully watching her. An Elf has many expectations as they grow and mature, however the daughter of a high priest has all the more pressure stacked upon their shoulders to succeed, as they are trusted to continue to lead their people for generations to come. Thus she was taught a great many things in her current 93 years of life. The history of time itself, including the races of Arethil, the geography of the world, the wonders of magic and the tides of nature. Though hardly ignorant of the world outside of Fal'Addas, much of her life has been spent within the safety of the wood, learning, studying, and training to become the next high priest.

When her father became ill, and the healing powers of the gods were not enough to spare the man his pain, Eirika turned to the world beyond the forest for answers, and to help alleviate the dying man's ailment. She needed answers, and help, before time ran out. Despite his warnings, and even forbiddance of her to leave on his behalf, Eirika did as she willed, and set off to find the answers she so desperately sought.
