Appearance
Being the shortest and youngest of House Malennis has subjected Eira to many taunts from her siblings and cousins. She has a light-medium complexion, face clear and plump with youth. Her eyes are a lighter shade of brown than that of her older sister and brother, taking on a burnt honey hue of brown than the pure brown. Eira has dark chestnut brown hair that once reached her waist, but has since been cut to reach her elbows, making it easier to style her hair back now that she can learn how to fly on her bonded dragon.Moon Dragons of House Malennis
When Eira was eight years old, a Moon Dragon egg hatched and searched for its bonded rider. Aeron had dragged his three children from their beds and witnessed a young dragonling come into the world, and prayed to the beasts loyal to House Malennis that this new addition would bond with one of his children. Eira knew this would be her dragon, as all day leading up to this point in the night, she had been thinking of the name Tyafainne, which then was bestowed upon the celestial dragon.
The hatching of a Moon Dragon is rare, and for a member of House Malennis to bond with their breed raised their status in the large family. Even Ascendants were considered family by those too bonded to a Moon Dragon. Most Malennis members bond with other dragons, or none at all.
The Great House Malennis
With a name such as Malennis, Eira grew up with a quiet superiority, but has been described to be joyous, friendly, and observant. Despite her family’s jests, Eira had a deep love and fondness for her extended family. As they are a larger House, there are some of the Malennis’ that have feuds and disagreements, particularly to those that are bonded with a Moon dragon, as far and few they are to exist.Aeron Malennis, 67 years old
