Diego Alcantara is of middling height, with a lean build, long dark hair, flashing dark eyes, and wiry mustachios. He is known for his charming demeanor that can quickly turn to explosive and violent anger with provocation. Born to a landless noble family in the Cortosi city of Torleon, Diego took up soldiering from a young age. He eventually became quite good at it. After all, practice makes perfect. Such a lifetime fighting other people's wars has turned him callous and cruel. After burning the first three villages, the next dozen got a bit easier.


When the continental wars came to a lull, his eyes turned to the distant east, where rumors abounded of serpentfolk guarding cities of gold and fountains of eternal youth.
