A man of big aspirations that fell short of reach. Detlan carries the weight of many lives on his shoulders and many worlds on his mind. He's seen more than most but deserves far less honor and credit than he's given. A contractual agreement has extended his life far beyond what nature would have provided, and granted him powers and abilities surpassing his wildest dreams. If only he'd learned a bit of humility and moderation along the way, things might have turned out better for him.

Scruffy, bewildered, affronted, exhausted. Detlan might've passed for handsome and suave if he wasn't presently torn in multiple directions at once. For those that know him better than most, Detlan never truly looks as though he's got himself put together - but as if he's very nearly on the verge of either some great epiphany or disastrous mental breakdown. His general sense of world-weary fatigue can only be combated by the haphazard manner he's assembled his wardrobe, or the wild nature of his mismanaged coif.

Life hasn't been kind to the man, and he wears this on his sleeve like a gold medal awarded at the local drudgery convention. His hair is the color of over-ripened, strained peaches; his eyes the color of a murky lagoon, and his trim but slightly under-fed physique leaves many guessing. Could he put you on your ass? Possibly. Will he? Jury's still out on that one.
