Denarius Stryder

Appearance
A slightly tall human with no distinguishable physical appearances. He blends into a crowd, you wouldn't look twice at him on the street, and that is how he prefers it. Some minor battle scares on the left side of his face, and a small scar on his chin are his only distinguishable markings; but any man or woman whom has seen a battlefield could lay claim to the same.
Skills and Abilities
Archery - By human standards, Denarius is an above average marksman with the bow. Used primarily for hunting, he has been known to set his aim on larger, biped targets when the time calls for it.
One Handed Sword - Stryder is very adept with the sword, having learned it at a young age from his father. Others use a two handed sword for brute force, Styder prefers the agility of a one hand. He prefers to dance around his target, and quickly shift from bow to sword and back to bow one the battle calls for it; the one handed sword allows him to do this perfectly.
Daggers - When the bow and sword have failed, the up close and personal set of daggers will do the trick. Quick, nimble and just as deadly as any larger blade, Stryder wields these when all else has failed.
Minor Alchemy - No one will mistake him as a chemist, but Denarius is familiar with most of the common herbs in the land, and can whip up your basic salves, potions and remedies with a bit of time, a warm fire and his pestal and mortar.
Guitar - A rare yet amusing cover story (as a wandering bard) has overtime turned into a small hobby. No one will confuse his voice of that of the finest bard's in the land; nay, even the mediocre ones could easily outduel him. But what he lacks in voice he makes up for in guile and enthusiasm.

Personality
Denarius is a tale of two men. The one that is on the clock; a no nonsense, driven mercenary whom gets the job done, no matter the consequences. Then there is the man that is off the clock, a bit more laid back, care free, preferring the silence of the great outdoors to the hustle and bustle of the city. He never stays in one place too long, moving from town to town, village to village, plying his trade and earning some cash along the way. He thinks he has a great sense of humour - though not everyone agrees - that has gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion, but for the most part keeps to himself.
Normally working alone, if the coin is good and the opportunity is rife with promise he has been known to work with others when the moment calls for it.

Biography & Lore
Born to a middle class merchant family in Elbion, Dennarius does not much speak of his past, other than that he has no plans to ever return to Elbion, and what is left of his families modest fortune is carried on his person; in other words not much. He left home at a young age, wandering the roads as a bandit at a young age, earning coin where he could doing small errands and fetch quests mostly. It was there he learned to use a sword and daggers, receiving training from a former guard turned bandit.
After a couple of years of living life on the wrong side of the law, Denarius left the bandit life and turned to the slightly more legitimate trade of mercenary work. Less stealing from the rich and more... protecting of the rich, or those whom had coin or services to trade. Protection work mostly, though a deft hand or two, a spy mission here or there, and the delivery of unknown goods to an unknown person every now and then was not beneath him, so long as the client could pay.
Stryder roams from town to town, using brokers mostly to set up meetings and get hired by clients. Best to keep his distance and not get friendly with them; moving locations constantly and rarely meeting his clients in person allows him to do so.
