A young man born off the Cortosi coast with an average build and stature, if maybe slightly underfed. A charming warm smile is often on his face along with round spectacles when he is working.

He prefers to wear simple trousers and loose linen shirts, but his master has been urging for him to wear clothes that befit his new station. However, all aspects of his appearance are typically overshadowed by the vibrant capes and cloaks he wears, even in the most unforgiving temperatures he will never leave home without this fashion accessory.

• Hedgemage - Also called witchcraft more uneducated townsfolk, but Dario's magical knowledge is a unique tapestry of various fields of anything and everything that Grandma Ellie could teach him. While he has recently been taught more academically normalized spells, his choice of spellcraft can be befuddling to those more rigorously trained in the arts.
• Alchemy and Herbology - Dario's true talent lies in the growing, breeding, and crafting of unique plants and potions.
• The Mantle of Baal - Dario has a mental bond with the sentient magical mantle known as the Mantle of Baal. Through this connection, Dario and the mantle know what each other is about to do and can telepathically communicate over short distances. In extreme situations, one side of the bond can take over the other's movements when necessary.

The Mantle of Baal - This magical mantle was named after one of the ancient gods before the arrival of the Dawnfather. The mantle can transform its appearance in any way it desires primarily taking the appearance of capes or cloaks. The mantle is resistant to nearly all forms of magic with only the strongest of spells capable of harming the cloth.

This sentient piece of clothing can also move and fly on its own, able to stretch and shrink itself to large and minuscule sizes. It is capable of supporting large quantities of weight and even being ridden. However, its abilities to shrink, grow, stretch, and support weight are all directly tied to the magical strength of its wearer.
