Cora Tel’Run backstory

Cora is elvish having short cropped white shoulder length hair. Her eyes are purple with pink irises. Cora’s skin radiates a blueish color from spending her life underground. To many she is considered a dark elf. But being a nocturnal elf is obvious. Her magical discipline is shadowmancy, which she has been practicing her whole life. Cora’s mother died at childbirth and her father, Jader, was so distraught he took Cora into the underdark and raised her alone.

Cora knows nothing of the world, races, or anything in general most people know. Jader only taught Cora survival, swordsmanship,& her use of magic. Being a master at Shadowmancy, Jance placed that highest on his mind to teach his child. But he also was an “assasian” or as Cora knew it to be a sword-master for many years before her birth.

As Cora grew older she began to notice the major physical differences between herself and her father. Jader wasn’t much for talking about his past but Cora did learn he was a windstalker summoned by her mother. They fell in love but their time was short lived.

As Cora matured her fathers lineage began to appear. By concentrating Cora was able to slightly become unseen, not quite invisible like her dad but very close. Living secluded didn’t help and as the year passed Jader ‘s mind grew more insane. Once he felt he had helped Cora learn enough to survive he took his own life. Leaving his daughter his prized swords and a few other items. Cora was old enough to know that was for the best so she wasn’t upset at his choice.

Cora decided to venture out from the underdark to find her purpose in life.
