Cirice: lightbringer and paragon of virtue
The Radiant Flame is an ancient discipline combining light, fire, and holy magic. Those gifted in this discipline are often also gifted in iridescent coloring, though it is not true for all of them. With practice and devotion, those who practice can project their own blinding aura around them. The Radiant Flame is not unique to the Avariel, and its few devotees are scattered throughout Arethil.
The combination of light and holiness emphasizes harmony. Inner peace must coexist with righteousness. Oftentimes, those of the Radiant flame take up positions of authority and are seen as the hand of justice.

The Purity of Light
At the heart of the Radiant Flame is the belief of pure, untainted light. Not only is it a physical phenomenon, but it is also a spiritual concept that may cleanse, heal, and purify. Those who wish to achieve the status of a Radiant Flame must fully dedicate themselves to this concept and vow to illuminate the darkness- whether it be literal or metaphorical. They shall guide to the path of righteousness.
Divine Fire
The Radiant Flame does not believe in fire as a destructive force, but rather one of transformation. It is the symbol of rebirth as well as the symbol of burning away darkness and corruption. One of the main tenets is to use their fiery gift to in order to transform and purify.

Each devotee may have differing abilities, but all stem from their primordial Holy Flame.
Celestial Flames
Cirice may call upon the light to raise a pillar of holy fire from the ground, enveloping the darkness in a purifying blaze.
Prismatic Spark
A concentrated beam of pure light can be used to cut through the darkness and pierce the impure.
Radiant Mirage
Multiple illusions depicting Cirice appear. Each is capable of attacking, though damage is significantly decreased. They are made of pure, bending light. Attacking one will simply make it dissipate into nothing.
Several other abilities have been used by Cirice over time, simple such as creating a light to read in the dark, or more complex such as her Sacred Conflagration, a form of magic which encompasses a large area in holy fire that incinerates those with evil intent and is capable of healing the innocent. It seemed, however, that even those who were most innocent had hate in their hearts.
There is a theory that once one reaches the highest status in the Radiant Flame, they may become an ethereal being of pure light. It is said that it may be used only in times of the greatest darkness. Some say the user burns with the light and never returns to the mortal world. Some say it is just bullshit.

Cirice was born into the darkness, baptized in holy fire by parents who did not want her. She was discovered by those who believed in the Radiant Light, taken in as a beacon of hope after the flames on her wings could not be extinguished. Her upbringing was lined with the teachings of light and holiness, overseen by a high priestess who taught her how to wield her gifts. Even in her youth, her innate abilities had surpassed those of the priestess and her peers.
Her training had not been limited to magic alone however. She had been taught in combat, granting her agility and grace while flying and of those the Radiant Light deemed good and evil. She is a weapon, a beautiful blend of elegance and righteousness, that considers herself judge, jury, and executioner of darkness.
